California taxes

Can any of you California folks clue me in on the typical tax liabilities of bringing my plane into the state as a new resident? By then it will have been purchased over a year ago. Currently registered in the FAA database to an Alaskan address, and there are no state aviation taxes (except for fuel of course) in AK

I don't believe you will be punished with our 8.25-8.75% sales tax having owned it out of state for a year. I believe the cutoff is over 6 months.

The personal property tax is about 1% year varies by county.

I'm not a tax attorney so take it for what it's worth. I do own half an airplane.
