Line Up and Wait
KRBD, Dallas Executive Airport, formerly known as Redbird, used to be one of the best kept secrets in N. Texas. The two FBOs, Jet Center and Ambassador are both piston friendly and fuel prices are usually the best you'll find within the DFW mode-C veil. I saw a sign for hangar space at Jet Center on Saturday, something you won't see very often at other airports around the Metroplex like KADS. It's good to see the airport grow economically but it's nice to know everybody on the field now and we know all the tower folks by first name, a situation I fear may change with a move like this.
