Pre-takeoff checklist
Hi Gang
A 310 crashed on final to 9R last night. It is reported that the plane is owned by Royal Air freight. The single pilot on board was killed in the crash. This happen about 7:30 last night. I was at the airport about 5:00 and weather was poor with a 200 ft ceiling and 1/4 mile vis. He crashed short of the runway in some woods at the Pontiac Lake Recreation Area. I don't know the pilot but prayers to who ever his family is. So sad.
