In the distance, Seguin Island and Light Station(1857) and has pad for 'copter. Pond Island is in the middle, and the keel-killer is South Sugarloaf Island(just south of North Sugarloaf Island-not in picture). Bald eagles are often seen on the Sugarloaf twins.

Its at Midway.. the northern most reaches of the Hawaiian chain

That is Green Island in the Kure Atoll, about 80nm SSW of Midway, and the furthest West of the Hawaiian chain. There was a LORAN C station there until the 80s. Exciting crushed coral strip going in loaded, piece of cake coming out empty!!
