On U.S. Route #1.
Located in Edgecomb, ME.
4 miles to Wiscasset Airport.
On the Sheepscot river.
½ hour drive to Boothbay Harbor.
Yacht Club on the Wiscasset side of the bridge.
Bank foreclosed on the developer several years ago.

Looks promising.

I also see that Harte Field NW of Bangor, east of Dexter is for sale.
Complete with home, barns, grass runways and hanger.

That whole development stemmed from what used to be The Muddy Rudder 2 Restaurant. After many years it became Bintliff's. The Bintliff owner started the housing development/condos project. He was a real nice guy; had a deal that, every Maine service man who would return from duty over in the "crazy world" would be given -- I don't remember if it was a weekend, but I think it was a full week -- FREE VACATION for the service man's entire family. The development project got bogged down re SALES during the 2008 to XXXX, and Bank of Maine foreclosed on the project. As far as I know, Jim Howard, Pres. of Priority Group LLc, Two Main Street, Topsham was chosen by the bank to market the properties. I'm assuming the arrangement still is in force.

I'll be in Boothbay Harbor in August, I've got relatives there and Wiscasset Airport always treats us nice.
