At their most recent appearance at NAS Brunswick our EAA Chapter 87 had a booth in one of the large hangars. We were right beside the Army Parachute team. The Chapter will probably do it again this year but I'll not be able to be there. I'm opening in "Oklahoma" at Portland Lyric Music Theater(South Portland) on the 14th; and will be in production for that and the following weekend.
But, in a way, I lucked out. I hadn't gone to auditions because I had guests during that period. I, later, received a call from the Producer. "I don't know you, but if you have the time you're in the show." What I thought would be another male voice in the ensemble -- at first rehearsal they gave me a principal role(minor): Andrew Carnes.
If you fly up to Wiscasset some time let me know and you can stay the weekend at my house -- 12.5sm from Wiscasset.
