A passenger on the LATAM flight to Auckland says he saw people hit the ceiling before the plane began to nosedive.

It wasn’t mentioned in the 727 safety cards in the seat back pockets.

On Latam, I would expect to see an ATR safety card in the 787.

Or the old Gruppe TACA.

Did a turboprop flight on them from Honduras to Costa Rica. Safety brief consisted of FA hold up the demo seatbelt and latching and unlatching. No words were spoken. Half the passengers were not wearing their seatbelt during take off. Carry on was on your lap.

Jokat said the pilot came to the back of the plane once the plane landed.

"I asked him 'what happened?' and he said to me 'I lost my instrumentation briefly and then it just came back all of a sudden'.

Any 787 pilots care to speculate how "losing instrumentation" could result in an uncontrolled dive?
