Looking at the aperture of ANY laser is a Bad Idea(tm). Just more so when you start dealing with lasers that were meant to be in an enclosure ;)

Mainly I'm surprised that the laser assembly for the PS3 is only about 45$. You see blue lasers for sale online for 1000$ or so, and you start to wonder exactly how much is markup...
