Beware of prop wash

What does that have to do with propwash?

It was a too-short landing with a bounce (looked like no flare).

"Heinrich, you haff vailed your checkride!"

It looked like a C-123, tough old plane that could handle most any landing.

Except the one near my front yard in 2010.

I did a double take because I thought it was a C-123 and I'd never heard of one with turboprop engines. Then I saw it was a C-160. It looks like a copy/development of the Fairchild design but Wikipedia doesn't mention any association.
