Loveland, CO - Jet powered Berkut crash lands short of airfield.
As usual, the details from different news sources don't make any sense, and don't agree. If everything is taken at face value: The engine exploded, the airframe fell apart, a wing fell off, the pilot guided it to a safe off-field landing and walked away without a scratch.
Anyone have any real information?
I feel for this guy - very impressive aircraft.
