Benign Liver Cyst

I had a CT scan done recently, which came back showing no "stones" of any kind, but the doctor said I have a "Benign Liver Cyst", and he stated "this is no big deal, in fact, i have one too".



What does the FAA/AME say about this? Is there a concern for getting a new medical?

People dont get ct scans for fun. The reason for the scan might be pertinent, and trigger the need for more information.

Dav'es right, to answer this one we need to know why the scan was obtained...

The CT scan was done, along with blood tests, due to pain in my abdomen area. Fearing it was my appendix, i went to the hospital.

For the most part, everything came back fine. No stones.

He mentioned the stomach thing might be a "possible ulcer"

and then also stated the Benign Liver Cyst.

If that's the sole finding, nothing to worry about as far as certification goes .
