Line Up and Wait
Well good friend of mine and myself went out this afternoon on quick flight in the t182t. Temp in upper 50's calm winds.
Started with me being to told to standby 1L while the controller tried to figure out why one 172 was about to land on another! Thankfully the second aircraft did his go around quite rapidly when advised while the landing 172 got to call the tower!
Once she got back to me it was immediate departure and I love how the aircraft wanted to fly! Smooth as glass while I played around with power settings as the sun set. It is amazingly peaceful up there but too quickly I had to return before legal night started. Nice smooth landing, power settings worked out great and timing was right!
Tomorrow night I'm going to do littlecross country with instructor since its been 8 years since I've flown at night. Aso gonna knock out my night currency.
