BasicMed - in / near Los Angeles County?

Who in the LA area has been able to get a BasicMed signoff? Where did you go? Did they hassle you about doing some off-schedule physical?

I can't believe how averse people are to doing this. All the AME's I've talked to don't want to touch this and the other docs, well...

I just got my class 3 today. The physician said he spoke with others about the basicmed and said they were leary about signing off on it.
 
My physician wasn't the least bit worried about it, until I asked him to do it today. I have an appointment with an AME tomorrow(yes, on Saturday).
