The newscaster mentioned that the pilot was having ice issues. It's hard to tell from the pictures but it kinda looks like the plane was booted.

They also reported that the plane was last inspected in 2009 which would put it out of annual but I can't imagine where they got that data.

A wild freaking guess, based on the latest registration certificate issue date of 10/22/2009 I bet.

The other thing that makes me laugh - They have one picture of "A similar Baron plane" on the site - It is THE SAME PLANE.

I saw that too. Scratched my head, then figured "at least they didn't call it a Cessna."
