Bad News, Good News.

Bad News: I had to take the plane to MKG for the 24 month transponder and static/altimeter check.
Good news: I got to go flying today.

Good news: Finally tracked down a radio gremlin, and it wasn't a wiring problem.
Bad News: I have to buy a new radio.

Bad news: Static/Pitot leak in the Airspeed Indicator and I need to buy a new one.
Good news: The airspeed indicator was probably reading 3 knots low which is why I wondered why all my IAS -> TAS calculations were off when compared with the 4 way GPS route.

Good news: I didn't have to pay for the 24 month check today.
Bad news: It will cost me a lot more when I do have to pay for it.

Bad News: My plane will be in Muskegon, and unflyable until Wednesday.
Good News: My wheel pants that were supposed to go on Saturday look good, but aren't quite done curing and drying, so the timing works out better.

Good News: My friend's adoption custody case was dropped by the other party and A.J. is permanently with her now.
Bad News: I always find the wrong thing to say, and now she's upset with me.
