Bad Elf Wombat

It looks like the Bad Elf Wombat has been discontinue. Does anyone know of an alternative or if Bad Elf will release a newer version? I use my iPad as my laptop and the Jeppesen mobile app is my only option.

I have a Bad Elf Pro, it looks like that is also discontinued. I have not used it in years. I had it for my non-gps iPad when flying. But I updated my STRATUX to include the GPS to the iPad and most rental aircraft now with ADS-B Out provide the GPS and ADSB In data on the transponder Wi-Fi broadcast.

I use mine quite often as it seems my database seems to expire most often while I am on a trip.
Assuming it doesn't fail I wonder how long I will still be able to use it? I would surely miss it without a replacement.
