Bad Elf GPS

I'm tempted just because I like gadgets but I have 3G too.

What about all the improved accuracy they tout?
 
I haven't seen a reason to plug it in, I used it the first flight I made with an iPad, then stuck it in my flight bag and haven't used it since. I let my CFI borrow it for a flight since he doesn't have the 3G iPad and it worked fine for him.
 
I'm interested. PM me with what seems reasonable.
