Sitting in the airport London Gatwick... waiting for my flight over to Tampa. for 5 weeks of fun and some work..... Starting my CPL and hopefully going to get some flying, fishing and golf.

Typically the weather in the UK is now getting better for some GA flying...... but I'd def be in Florida...

When I visited Scotland 6 years ago, I flew out of Edinburg in a C172. It was some nice flying but wasn't cheap. The $108 to land back at Edinburg took me by surprise. Been back the past 4 years but haven't had a chance to fly again.

Hi John,

Your right flying in the UK is expensive, I fly from Perth which is about 40miles north of Edinburgh. Landings there are free if your a member. Next time your over let me know and I'll take you for a flight round the local area.
