Back in the air, again!

Went flying yesterday and it was GREAT - better than it had been for a long time. Felt like home. New CFI, new FBO - felt more confident than I have in a long time. All was well.

Talking about getting me re-soloed soon and getting on with finishing up!

Don't know what the difference is between this 1971 172 and the 2001 172s at the flying club, but I could NEVER get comfortable or feel situated in the new ones. It just wasn't working - me, airplanes, starting over at a club, whatever - something about the mix just wasn't doing it for me. But now, it's all good . . .

Mom's doing great - she's getting over the broken hip and they're trying to figure out why she keeps falling (ack - she'll just break her hip again, if they can't stop it!!) but she's going home tomorrow and my sister and brother-in-law sold their house and are moving in with mom to be there for her. It's all good, I think!
