I have no idea if they are going to make those events available after the fact, but man, if you didn't hear John and Martha King speak at airventure today, you missed an awesome presentation!!!!
They were polished like none others I've heard before them. Clearly, they had reheared, and had prepared a special "back and forth" for this event that was humorous and riveting.
I'm not trying to diss the other presenters, they were all great! The ATC one was great, the mountain flying one was riveting, and most have been just fantastic. I'll admit the owner maintenance one got a little dry, I'm sorry, the subject matter doesn't interest me, since I don't own.
I have never purchased a King video, although I think I've seen clips of them on YouTube. This was the first time I've heard them speak. Man were they able to convey a message! They were very funny, and yet, he was telling a horrifying story about basically crashing his 210, where Martha ended up... hurt, it wasn't good.
Some presenters talked about risk management, but the Kings really got me thinking.
Here is what's left... look at some of these presentations!!!! How can you not have these on in the background listening while you're doing whatever else you're doing? I have no affiliation, not in FAAST, but loving these presentations!
