Integrity is one of my personal core values... not just a professional one.

I was just jesting given the recent events in the news, clearly these are good-to-go units, didn't mean to offend.

No Offense taken sir. I actually laughed at it.... but want to be sure that PoA stays clean and free from dirtbags like those MO guys.

No ADSB gear???

The GTX-330 needs an ES upgrade to support ADS-B.

And there are so many new units on the market, that it is hard for non-OEM dealers to stock ADS-B supported equipment right now.

I know it is going to be a requirement by Jan 1, 2020.... are many of you guys actively looking to upgrade your aircraft to ADS-B in the near future? If there is a demand (Which there will be eventually..) I will start stocking more ADS-B gear.

where are you located?

Just curious, but what do you replace a 650 with when you do an upgrade?? :dunno: 750 maybe?

The original airplane it was installed in had it coupled to a GTN-750 and dual GNS-530 setup with a bunch of other goodies. (Piper Meridian). The aircraft was sold to a new owner who decided to upgrade to G1000 shortly after closing on the plane.

I didn't know you could upgrade to G1000.

That makes sense. I pretty much gutted my Conquest panel right after I bought it.

Yeah I have seen some crazy panels inside the early model Meridians.... these are the ones that the panel upgrades are popular in. Edit- the newer owners want better avionics and to make them comparable to their buddies who purchased later model Meridians with awesome panels.

I am not surprised you did so. There are not a whole lot of Conquests out there with updated panels.... Kudos to you

Yeah, this one has the SPZ 500 autopilot which I really like, and I put a G600, 750/650, remote transponders, remote audio panel, GDL69A, pretty much everything except the Garmin radar. :D

What would it cost to upgrade the330 to es?

Got anything in the way of a KI-202 CDI
and a Mid Continent annunciator panel
To make my KLN 89B play?

I still have an annunciator/switch panel for the 89B but it's 28V.

I've got a 430 waas now and was looking at Sarasota's trade in program. I'd sure like to have at least a 650 and since it would already be down for mx, might as well do the 88 as well.

You don't happen to be associated with them do you? Looking for a whole deal installed and wondering what a value for trade on a very clean 430w is and what my checkbook is going to suffer in the end?

If your flying below FL18, you don't need the ES. Your not required to have the 1090 MHz systems below it and your current transponder is fine.

Upload a pic of your panel!

Yes cost to upgrade to ES is around $1500 from most dealers. Some will quote slightly less. However $1500 is average. Takes about 3-5 days after it is received by Garmin.

Hi Unit74,

I am not associated with Sarasota Avionics. However, my office is located across the parking lot from them in Dolphin FBO.

I will send you a PM to ask a few more questions. I am interested in your 430W.

Regards,
AviatorAdam

Two 530s, a 750 and 350? Guess the more screens the better? Does he have 430s mounted in the back of the headrests too :goofy:
