We have a weathervane topping a small cupola on our garage. The weathervane is a horse...and, well...that just doesn't cut it.

Has anybody come across some reasonably priced aviation themed weathervanes? I'd love it to be as GA as possible.

Show me what ya got. :)

These are on the lower end of the price scale from what I found when I was looking. But I've been happy with the one I bought. A couple of GA aircraft under "transportation". They aren't huge, and not three dimensional like the one I wanted, but a heck of a lot cheaper! They have an ebay store (ebay username is shamrockstore) where you can save a few bucks on some of the designs. Shipment was very fast to me.

Thanks, Lisa. I, like you, would like to get something a bit more 3D. Thanks for the link, though. They look like they'd fit the bill if I don't find what I'm looking for.

try Sporty's

Thanks, Steve. I only found one on Sportys.com. I'm hoping for something with a bit more panache.

This is the one I really wanted...I just didn't want to pay $300+ for it. They sell them at a feed store near me, but they aren't any cheaper there.

Thanks, Lisa. That's more along the lines of what I'm looking for. If anybody else has links to something similar...keep em coming. I'd like to have a couple of options before I present them to the Budget Oversight Committee (my wife).

Hi Jason- in case you haven't done it yet.

Here's http://www.flyingvanes.com/

The prices may be more than you were looking for...

Also, a 6' span may cause it to really fly in the NE zephyrs we get out here...
