How often have you been in a four-seater, where one or more of the headphone jacks provided poor quality audio communication, or didn't work at all?

Seller is offering a remarkable, lightweight, portable solution to instantly turn your faulty four-place, or two place, intercom system into a fully-functioning 4-place intercom system. This system is easy to use, small, and in new condition. This model has been discontinued by Avcom, so it will be hard for you to find another one that has the same functionality. Seller is asking only $179. Buyer pays shipping costs.

This system provides complete controllability for the pilot to determine whether just he/she can hear ATC communication, or everyone on board, all the while, communication within the cockpit is functional. Provides mono or stereo audio options, as well as the ability to plug in an audio device to enjoy music during your flight.

Here is information from the manufacter:

AVIATION COMMUNICATION's line of high performance portable intercoms are durable, dependable and simple to operate. Their compact size is easy to pack in your flight bag, making them the perfect choice if you rent, fly multiple aircraft, or have limited panel space. They are particularly suited to the training environment where clear, effortless communication is essential and to record ATC/cockpit instructions (adapter included that connects to most tape recorders). For added dependability, they feature molded "tensile" wiring to withstand high flex bending and gold plated plugs to ensure low noise operation, positive contact, and superior signal transfer. 3-year factory warranty.

Enjoy stereo reception from tapes or CD's with automatic music muting when conversation begins. The AC-4MS includes a 'Radio Intercom' control with two settings: (1) 'Radio' Mode with 'fail safe' feature isolates the pilot with the ATC, and (2) 'Intercom' Mode allows all headsets to share entertainment and conversation. Switches easily into "mono" setting for use with mono headsets.

Additional features include rugged construction (see AC-4X), an adjustable squelch control to prevent aircraft noise from activating the unit, pilot front panel push-to-talk button that is alsoa LED indicator for VOX activation, co-pilot transmit capability and a newly designed Y-Block connector for use with yoke-mounted PTT. The record in-out adaptor provides music input or the ability to record ATC/cockpit communications. Lock-on auxiliary power cord for use with aircraft 12/24DC voltage cigarette lighter.
