Av30c hooked to an Aera 760

I am considering installing an AV-30c Dg hooked up to a portable AERA 760 via the RS 232 port

Can anybody share your experiences ?

Uavionix claims that early next year they will have the Mini-AP to interface with an STEC AP (which my sundowner already has)

Is that still a realistic release date? uAvionix tends to deliver late...
