I also posted this on AOPA and didn't get any response I hope someone hear might know..

Does anyone have an update or any information as to when Bader is closing ?
I have read the posts here with the end of this month mentioned but I wanted to see if there was any new information.
I would like to make it down there on the final day or close to it.

John, the only thing i can find is this,posted on another website,"The city submitted its paperwork to the FAA July 25. Morici said it is his understanding that the airport will be closed around Sept. 17."
 
I just called Atlantic City Approach and although he was not 100% certain he said he had heard 2 things one that the last day it would be open was on the 30th ( Saturday)

The other that it was closing at 12:01am Friday night ( the very first minute of the new month). But now that I think about that I wonder if he meant 12:01 Saturday night which would make it the first day of the new month...

Another update..

I just spoke to another person at Atlantic city approach.

He is under the strong belief that Bader will close at 12:01 this FRIDAY night. And will not be open at all on Saturday. He said that a notam should come out 2 days before the closing so I will look for it on Thursday.

He was very helpful and said that they are all upset that it will be closing and there is nothing they can do about it..

this is terrible...ive heard mixed things but isnt this airport very historic for being the first airbase or something on the east coast back in the day...
.
i fly there about twice a month for day/night trips with friends to the boardwalk and casinos...im gonna miss it...last week i was headed to Cape May and passing through the airspace i heard someone ask the controller and they said sept 30th..hopefully i can get time to get in there at least once before it closes...this will prob be friday night after work..

Make sure you are out of there by midnight or your plane might turn into a land based vehicle !! Good luck and let us know how it was..
