Yes...Meryl is very nice and writes some great articles and answers answers questions truthfully, but always including safety factors involved (...how things on/in the cockpit/airplane really are safe). We need more people like her to write regularly for the media/press.

Also worth a look is weekly the Ask the Pilot column on Salon.com. Not really a question and answer format, but rather a discussion of interesting aviation topics. The Pilot is an excellent writer.
