Is AOPA going to continue supproting and updating RTFP now that they have the IFP? Just today I was prompted to upgrade to a new version of RTFP.

RTFP= Real Time Flight Planner

IFP = Internet Flight Planner

The RTFP is downloaded on your computer the IFP is internet based.

Except for the lack of rubberband to change your route, I like the IFP. I would be able to get the most recent weather, for example, and reprint an updated flight log at the airport.

I like the IFP way better than the RTFP but in either case I still think Golden Eagle is better. My guess is that once the contract on RTFP ends that AOPA will stop supporting it.
