I am in the bay area (San Jose, CA) and I was wondering if any interest in flying together
    to Missoula in a 172/182!

I am flying from Southern California, have my own plane, but I am curious what route you are planning to take to Missoula from San Jose?

I’m from SoCal and going, but stopping in Oakland overnight on my way up to pick up a passenger. Leaving out of Oakland in my C-182 Thursday morning, hopefully by 6:00 AM. Current plan, unless I have to file IFR, is essentially SAC, Reno, Boise, then due north from Boise to S68, before turningapprximately due East for the last 100 miles to Missoula. Probably at 11.5 AGL the majority of the route. Another thought I was toying with is to go further east than Boise so I can come in to Missoula from the South. A bit less time over the more rugged Mountains I believe.

I’m flying from Salt Lake and basically routing to Idaho Falls area then Salmon and follow the Bitterroot to Missoula.

Montana? The AOPA staff must have wanted to go trout fishing.
