DJI Phantom 2 Vision+ is the current rage. It comes with a camera equivalent to the GoPro (maybe better?), already connected to the built-in gimble. Just go to YouTube and search for "DJI Phantom 2". There are videos being posted hourly from all over the World. Truly a "open it and fly" product. My RC-Challenged friend flies his like a pro. It has been optimized as a camera platform as mission #1, but has crazy manual/programmable abilities. $1200+ depending on accessories. It will automatically fly back to it's most recent starting point and land if the battery gets low or if the controller loses contact with the craft. First Person View video real-time to your smart phone while you fly.
I'd have one, but figure the next-gen (days/weeks/months?) will even be better.
