Anyone close to RKW?

This is why I went to RKW

I am going to RKW saturday to look at a new plane. If anyone is close and has time for a glass of tea or a bite to eat, let me know. I should be in around 3:30pm CST.

Well, we made the trip to RKW yesterday and couldn't have ask for better weather. The trip took us through southern IL, western KY and down into eastern TN to Rockwood. Winds going down where in a favor(2.0 down) but coming home killed us. (3.8 coming home) A friend of mine is working on his com rating and needed some long day and night XC time. We took his 182 so he got his time and I got to look the plane over.
I was very happy with the plane(1947 Stinson 108-2) very nice restoration done, its hard to believe its 59 yrs old. Here are a couplle of pictures, just don't go buy it out from under me.
