i remember that guy on an ATC feed. His charter pilot dies in his seat, he had never landed from the right seat. But he was not a novice, he knew enough to ask for help from ATC.

While I did fly his plane (the famous nahner-deelta-wheeski), I never met him personally, he always slipped away.
Still trying to maybe meet him one day through the guys who fly him around our area. No luck so far.

If y'all watch the media hype about the emergency landing, be careful, don't believe what lies they tell us. He landed the plane very well because he is a private pilot SEL, it was not a miracle. But I guess fake miracles are what sells TV ratings.
