Any good restaurants along this route?

I refuse to click on any skyvector links. Identifiers?

How about SYM, cheap fuel, great runway, borrow the car and drive a bit to the truck stop for food. It worked well for me a while back.

I wonder if there are any ones at an airport along the way.

I've stopped at 1a6 and borrowed the courtesy car into town for food. It's an interesting little town just west of the Cumberland gap.

LOZ has a decent restaurant on field.

Both are good fuel stops as well.

LOZ- Good restaurant on the field, better fuel price than near your destination.
SYM- Where I buy fuel.
PMH- A later lunch stop if you wish, good restaurant on the field.

All have excellent fuel, runways and tie-downs. Have fun. Enjoy my home state. From 93-2000 lived in your area...Norcross & Winder.

2nd (or 3rd) vote for LOZ - It's been a year or so since I've been, but decent food right on the airport - it's a bar as well, (for your non-flying passengers)

If you're willing to stray off course a bit, and are looking for a "serious" restaurant, try Louisville Bowman Field (LOU) and check out http://www.lerelaisrestaurant.com/. A very nice french restaurant, again, right on the field in the old terminal building.
