I know what the A02 means, but what does the A at the end mean? Is it one of those goofy military things like QNH (this METAR is for McConnell AFB)?

According to http://www.aviationtrainer.com/Resouces/afpam11_238_Metar_TAF.pdf,
AO2 denotes an observation taken by standard
equipment with a full complement of sensors. A02A denotes an
automated observation augmented by a human observer

Thanks Grant! I looked all over the NWA and NOAA sites, but could never find anything that explained anything more than A01 or A02. I think this is the first time I've ever seen A02A.
