Authorities say he walked up to an officer, dropped a backpack at his feet outside the international terminal and made threats.
"He said, "I'm a terrorist, I've got a bomb in the bag and I'm going to blow it up now,'" airport police Sgt. Jim Holcomb told The Associated Press.

So, is this a dry run, an unstable guy, or a guy with some brass ...?

First the guy with an "internally" concealed magnet and now this. It's almost like the crazy people gravitate to LAX.

I thought theory was that the country every so often gets tilted up on an angle so the loose nuts fall to the lower left corner.
