I'm really interested in getting involved in Angel Flight Southeast, but have a few questions for anyone here who may have experience with AF. I've been looking on their site (angelflightse.org)

I'm not yet instrument rated assume I don't have enough hours to meet their PIC standards, so I'd love to start as a co-pilot...does anyone know how many hours they require for one to act as a co-pilot?

Also, everything I've found on the AFSE website seems to be about FL...is this the right organization for Georgia as well?

Here is Angel Flight of Georgia's website. Their office is in the Admin building at PDK. I'm not sure how the fit in with the National organization.

Angel Flight SOARS is a great group, we at Angel Flight East Link with the quite a bit. Their staff is very helpful and If you give them a call they will tell you exactly what they need. Most Angel Flight and Public Benefit Organizations also allow for second in commands or assistants I know Angel Flight East and West do.

By the way there is no " national organization" They all operate independently.
