We can all learn a lot from this incident... CRM, check-list usage, etc is not just exclusive to a specific group of pilots. We're all responsible for exercising good judgement and vigilance.

Distractions don't discriminate between Commercial carriers and GA thats for sure. A proper use of check lists could probably have prevented this entire snafu.
