AME Recommendations Houston, TX

I’ve read that it’s a good idea to seek recommendations for an AME from other pilots, so I’d appreciate any feedback for a good AME to contact in the Houston area. I would love to have a consultation first, and would appreciate any advice you may have.

Dr. Schuhmacher in Clear Lake (South side of Houston). He has a wait for appointment times, but I had a number of local people recommend him to me.
