Usually around late Feb or early March no more good sports on TV, and it warms up enough that folks start thinking about lawns, and outdoor stuff. Some of them go out and try to start the Craftsman or Poulan, or Husky and no luck.

So, I get some exercise picking them up, fixing the carb, electrical, maybe put a couple of belts and blades on, wash well, new plug, filter and oil. I only make a little money on them but it's kind of like a community service that pays a little pin money.

If you aren't in DFW area, start looking on CL for riders that the owner can't get started. Most I ever pay is $350, most are around $2-300, I spend $10-150 in parts getting it going again, and then release it back into the wild come April. Right now I've got 4 in stock. I just sold a nicely painted Snapper Comet with a rear bagger for $550. Three cans of rattle paint make a big difference. If you're in DFW, keep your hands off my riding mowers until April! Then I'll sell you one. :wink2:
