I've had successful eye surgery so my ophthalmologist is at least some good.

No, pretty much rooted here - but traveling to abq in May, and its time to get a real good checkup - seem to find better pickings in big cities.
Think I found one; 8yrs USAF flight surgeon, schooled at Tufts, ex Chief of Ophth at Kirtland.
