Kent: you suck.

How did you get there? Was it being a big-time celebrity on some pilot-casts?

Very cool. :cheerswine:

Very cool, Kent. How long did you get to hang out up there? Anything in particular stand out (other than the view)?

Yep, two guys bring in all those thousands of planes in just a few hours! (j/k)

Sorry - Too much to *do* to upload anything. I am probably more exhausted than I've ever been - Show all day, party all night. I will post one more before I go to sleep, tho.

A tiny bit blurry due to using extreme digital zoom on my camera, but still my favorite picture of the 700+ I took in the three days I was there. Click to see bigger size.

Here are the few pictures I took while at the show.

Here's our EAA 1252 newsletter report on our Oshkosh adventure.

Yes it was our group that arrived in a mobile home on the back of a tow truck (40 miles).

Must have been our address lucky 13th and Cottonwood.

Milestones-

President flew right seat SIC in Trimotor after being bumped one flight by "Sullie". Welcome to the airlines.

43 members at Camp 1252

Wednesday Dinner with the stars (1252 tradition) Aerobatric Pilot John Klatt Air National Guard S-300D. Pays to have retired Air Force brass in the club (last year was U2 Commanding Officer).

Wow Sharon those are great! Too bad my nails were not done... we could have gotten a joint picture!

That first one is the best one taken of me yet! And I'm bummed that you guys managed to hook up with Kimmie and I didn't see her! :(

Funny, Grant...we ran into Kim 2 or 3 times at OSH... I thought that pic was the best one of you too... Just kidding.

(And yes, I know I committed the worst faux pas of aviation photography: I stopped the props! That's what I get for not putting the camera in shutter-priority mode, I guess...)

Given that you need something like 1/30 sec exposure time to completely blur spinning props, I think you'd find it rather difficult to hand shoot such a picture at the focal length you were using.
