Airplane spins

I just saw this you tube video:

I was amazed how calm he was during the whole spin process. This wasn't a slow spin but a tight and fast spin. Not only that he was losing altitude fast. It didn't mention what his procedure was to correct the airplane. I wonder what it was, it also sounded like he tried to restart the engine after failure.

This is a fact, the moment you realize you are going to die (not "this might be it", "the is it") things become very calm regardless if you go into hyper drive or disassociate after that.
