I saw this on the news this morning near JFK airport.
Airliner reports drone at 1500'

Sounds like it was one of those little RC, four-rotor units that carry a camera. Maybe the operator just wanted a good view of an airliner in flight?

I bet we hear more of this kind of stuff. Every since the started using those FPV systems in RC's.
It will be just a matter of time before we are being told from where these types of rc's can be flown from. If you fly from anywhere but that area you go to jail.
