Airline accident rates

Bear in mind that total deaths doesn't necessarily say much about safety: an operator with very few aircraft and very few operations may have less deaths, but these may present a much higher value per operating mile or hour than others. A small company that's had several fatal crashes could be effectively much more dangerous than a large company that's had more fatalities, but flies 100 times the hours.
