After years of taking photos of Travis flying his planes, I finally did an actual photo-shoot. Feeling bad it took me so long! Two more planes to go this weekend if we get VFR conditions!

i had a rag wing and put an o-200 in her. Stits. Happiest airplane I've been around.

Keep the photos coming!

If you fly with me, you'll end up getting lots of photos of you and your plane... just sort of happens! Here are a few more of Travis in his 140A.

Those are some great shots, and a good choice of aircraft too

wow, I have to admit those photos are great. Good detail and nice, crisp colors. Can you give us a little detail on what you used?

Thank you. About $8K of Canon equipment! Canon 5D Mark III and a Canon 70-200 F2.8 IS ii to start with.

Thanks!

I really like the way you captured the angle of the sun. It shows all the details of the plane, especially in the wings.

Thanks, that's the most important part. I've had people that just can't get up early enough or stay at the airport late enough... they get frustrated because I can't control sunrise/sunset times! We can fly anytime and do some half-assed photos, or we can do it right. Got some Cub photos yesterday and his wheels touched down just as the sun was sinking below the horizon. Nice way to spend an evening.
