So Rick Adam has left Adam Aircraft "to pursue his next entrepreneurial venture."

I wondered why he was a little weird at OSH. Nice airplanes, though.

The 500 is certified and 7 were delivered, but the production line is at a standstill because it takes an ungodly amount of time to build one -- something on the order of 40,000 man-hours and they're trying to reduce that by 2/3rds to build 3 500s a month by the end of the year.

Meanwhile, all of their resources have gone into the jet and they think they will begin deliveries in a year, year and a half. They'll start with 3 700s per month and work up to 10+ per month.

The new CEO, John Wolf, is a former McDonnell and Fairchild exec, led the production launch of the Boeing 717.
