Line Up and Wait
just got back from the Able Flight Fund Raiser in Clarksdale, Mississippi. Morgan Freeman is co-owmer of the Ground Zero Blues Club there and agreed to host a party for major sponsors and donors. Sennheiser and Bombardier also sponsored the event. We had 8 of the 20 finished scholarship winners there to thank everybody and show what their donations went toward. Morgan Freeman greeted everybody for photo ops as they entered and spent most of the evening talking with everybody. A very nice man and dedicated pilot. The Tom Thorn band played two sets along with another blues band and a guy from the Flying Musicians. A great evening. The club and the Delta Blues Museum across the street are worth a look if you are ever in the area.
