Driving to our N GA home today, I passed by a fireworks store just north of Copperhill, TN that has some interesting hardware outside, mostly military.

But today, there was this:

It’s an Aztec, but with no engine nacelles.

Anyone have a clue? N number checks back to a technical college in Arkansas, recently deregistered.

Rudder is from a different airplane. Looks like it might have been used for teaching sheet metal repairs and mechanical work to students.

Hang a couple small jet engines under the wings and have a very unique airplane.??

Park it in the front yard without the trailer for a different piece of yard art.??

Mount it on a swivel for a wind direction indicator.??

Eddie, you could turn that into a really cool mailbox at your new digs....

:D

I think I know the place, just south of 64 on 60? Have a torpedo that looks like a sub

Old A&P school bird for sure. Start a bar and hang that puppy from the ceiling.

Just the perspective. Both wings in place, though they did look shorter than an Aztec’s wing, with an unfamiliar airfoil shape at the tips.
Lol, I guess I missed that, with the road looking like the wing.

Looks like the paint shop students got a little practice on it as well.

I vote for yard art...

Was it towed on that trailer with its wings on? That would be interesting to see -- it would not only block lanes of traffic, but it would also have lift.
