Hey guys - dumb question here:

Are skydivers feel turbulence? How about hot air balloons?

edit: I must have been pretty tired..damn graveyards - look at that sentence structure!! Should be "Do skydivers feel turbulence?"

Hi Nick, I know the divers experience it. I have seen them talk about it on their forums. Unlike us, they tend to fly faster through it because slow tends to collapse the canopy  from what I've read.
You can read about it on dropzone.com, search function.

I am thinking balloons fly in such calm conditions by necessity that turbulence is not a common problem.

Nick, when i was flying Blimps, the thermals were kinda neat, it would raise the nose, then you could feel it moving towards the back of the ship, as it rasied the tail. turbulance was felt, but not like in an airplane.
