My 10 year old son had his first lesson the other day at the now closed 3SQ.. He did really well and I believe he has been bitten by the aviation bug also..

That's great! My guess would be that the majority of today's active pilots were introduced to flying early.

I flew my 12 year old nephew from PTD to VVS to stay with us for a week. His mom's been asking him if he misses home. His answer, "No! can I stay??"



He was my "co-pilot" on the 3 hour IFR XC. He's been flying MSFS on my son's computer since we arrived....

Very cool! I bet he was very proud of himself when they returned. Too bad that the airport has closed - it looked like a great place to take lessons. What is the plan now for him to continue?
