It did not come from a rat,
it did not come from a cat.
The cats and the rats were not nibbled,
they are not like doggie kibble.

Some say the wet market is to blame
but there's little to support their claim
the truth is we just don't know
and it has certainly caused quite a row

But here we are, no real plan,

Was it spread on a train? On a cab? On a plane?

Nobody knows and nobody's sure -
But maybe somebody, somewhere will find a good cure...

Cause it just isn't funny
If your nose gets all runny
And your head gets all stuffy
And your eyes get so puffy -
It could be allergies, it could be the flu
It could be Corona and then what do you do?!

We cannot go out whether we have it or not
Don't try and sneak out - you'll probably get caught.
Who knows for how long, who knows for what for -
But maybe we'll be out by 2024!
